Thurs NWQOTD

We have talked about things our DHs do that are cute in another post so I figured I would make this one a spinoff. Does your DH do anything that really grosses you out or makes you nuts?


My DH doesn't really do anything gross but there is one thing about him that skeeves me. He is a very hairy man. He has hair in places that no one should ever have hair. I have come to terms with that and don't have a problem with it at all. However on his feet and ankles (going up to his calf really) he has NO HAIR. Not a ONE. When you touch his ankles it feels like when you just shave and it's all smooth. I don't know why but when his ankles brush up against me is really grosses me out...I am sure DH would hate me if he knew I told you all this..

Whenever DH uses the sponge (not often), he always leaves it sitting in the sink and he doesn't wring it out ... so HOURS later there's still this wet, slimy sponge sitting in the sink and it makes me want to PUKE.


Mine does that too... the few times he actually washes a dish.

DH's most disgusting habit is biting off his fingernails and ripping off his toenails...he has never used a nail scissor or a clipper to cut his nails. He either bites or rips them.

If that wasn't disgusting enough, after said nails are detached from his body, he puts them in his mouth and chews them. Like gum

And then takes them out and leaves them in a pile on the floor or the end table for me to find at a later date. It's tantamount to a puppy leaving a surprise for me.

oh god..mine too. His legs are like a forest. You could braid the hair. He sometimes shaves his chest for me though. Opps, forgot to add the most digsuting. Stinking up the bathroom and closing the door, not spraying anything ot letting me go in right after. Then I hear 'oh I used to do this at my house' Well maybe mother was ok with it but I'm not I will make him go back in and spray the air freshner...

DH doesn't flush the toilet after peeing! He only does this in the morning for some reason - the rest of the day, he flushes. It just skeeves me because when I wake up to get ready for work, I go in the bathroom, lift the toilet lid and there's pee in it!

My DH never flushes the toilet...never closes the cupboard doors...never turns any lights out...he drinks out of the milk/tea jugs...never puts his dirty clothes in the hamper...chews his fingers until they bleed...and literally lifts his leg like a dog and FARTS a 100 times. And he's teaching our son to do this

Oh how I love him so......

DH bites his nails constantly…. Like we’ll be sitting there watching TV and all I hear is the sound effects from him chewing. After I yell at him he stops but then starts again 5 mins later. But after reading all of these I guess I should be it’s not his toenails.

The only thing I can think of is that he used to leave ALL THOSE BLACK SOCKS all over the place...I would open his closet and they were on the floor, in plastic bags, brand new ones in the packaging....so I gave him his own sock drawer....just for black socks. So now he is back to being super awesome. lol


I can think of a lot more things that he gets annoyed at mefor doing.

i hope im not tmi here..

but we liv in a small apt..so when he is in the bathroom he makes these noises like he is having a baby in there when really is was just that taco bell u had for lunch...

also i hate the beard in the sink..and when he walks by me or goes hey g gotta show u something then tries to fart on me...but sometimes i do laugh at those

OMG, I clearly didn't read carefully before, because I thought I had the market cornered on that disgusting habit, but now I see that like 4 other DH's are vile too.

It almost makes me feel better.

oh and i gotta mention the drooling while he sleeps. ITS A LOT! he plays in the big leagues with his drool and it is soooo gross!

same here....and when i ask him why he couldnt flush or didnt flush...he responds, oh i guess i forgot how do u forget to FLUSH!!!!!!!!

I am so lucky, DH is really a neat freak. The only thing I can think of is sometimes he like twists up a tissue to clean inside his nose and then leaves it on the coffee table until the next time he gets up instead of throwing it out right away.

I CRINGE too!!! I cringe when I see it going on... when I see the aftermath... when I wrote this..when I read this.. and when you posted about this... and now that I'm responding, I'm cringing again!!! haha!!

I can't get him to stop that sh!t!! IDK WHY anyone would do this?!!?

obviously hes joking around but he will go on for like 5 minutes and it really grosses me and he knows it and continues...lol

he will pull his shorts or sweat pants all the way up with the band practically around his chest and arch his back a little like an old man and talk in this weird old man voice but the gross part is that his balls and all his stuff are all outlined through the sweats and he really looks like an old man at the gym. i tell him if he continues ill never have sex with him again. he continues and pretends the 'old man' is hitting on me

I think it's the funniest thing ever!! I crack up!!!
I love when he does this actually!! But he doesn't pretend to be an old man... instead he just starts acting REALLY goofy and jumps around funny!!!
