My best friend used to work at an urban fashion office which was super casual (she could wear jens, sneakers etc....), now she works for a VERY corporate fashion office and has to dress the part.
So how do you have to dress for work? Does your office have a dress code??
My office is ridiculously laid back. I'm a designer and work in our NY design office. There are only 5 people in our office but most days only 3 of us. I can wear sweat pants to work if I wanted to! I usually don't; my normal work clothes are jeans or leggings. If I have meetings or it's market week I'll wear cute skirts and dresses. In the summer on a normal day I'll wear short shorts and a tank.

I work from home. Currently I am wearing a UNLV tank top, juicy velour pants and socks.

We can wear whatever we want.. well minus sweats and pajamas. I work at a big corporation but they don't care if we wear jeans. I still like to look professionla though so i dress up alot. I will wear jeans probably twice a week and i usually dress them up with heels or boots and a nice top. The other days I will wear dress pants. Even though we dont have to dress up alot of people do. On the other hand there are some people (like a girl i work with) that comes in with these disgusting looking jeans, a wrinkled shirt and sneakers.

I work in construction and am in the field so I wear jeans and boots. I used to be in the office so it was business casual.

Our office is business casual - and very laid back...but you should see how shleppy some people look....usually just slacks and a nice shirt...

It’s supposed to be “business casual”… I usually wear cords, khakis or black pants with a sweater or long sleeves… actually right now I have my coat on bc it’s FREEZING! And I always wear jeans on Fridays, just bc I decided that every Friday should be casual Friday.

My office used to be business casual. We got a new office manager and now we can where pretty much anything we want. She says as long as we are clean, don't smell and aren't in items that are torn we can wear whatever.

I work in accounting, it's business casual everyday except we can wear jeans on fridays.

Dress here is pretty casual. I usually wear skinny jeans or nice leggings with boots. I love that. I don't have a separate for work & play...its all the same

It depends. I work for a law firm. Most of the time, it's pretty casual with jeans every Friday. However, if we have clients in or I have to make a court appearance, it's time to break out the suits.

I work in a hospital so we have a uniform...This blue man shirt that is soo long on me and black pant which I did get from them but it went up to my boobs so I wear my own black pants

well if I sub I dress up in teacher clothes
for editing I am sometimes in my PJs since I do it from home.
I loved my old job. It was 5 minutes away and I was usually the only one in the office regularly. I could go in jeans and t-shirt with my hair in a pony tail most of the time. I would roll out of bed at 8:30 and be at work by 9. But production is usually very casual, unless your dealing with clients or promos.

I'm a dance instructor......I wear sweats, shorts & tights, leotards, sneakers, and various dance shoes (jazz, ballet, tap)
I hate my work clothes! So as soon as I'm not at work I dress up ALL the TIME! I looooove shoes and dresses and anything that sparkles

when i first started here it was suppose to be buisness attire, buttt nobody listened and everyone wore jeans!! shortly after i started they got strict and everyone had to wear buisness attire all the time, then we were allowed casual fridays in the summer... then our office was being remmodeled so during the construction we were allowed jeans all the time! then since we continued that after the construction was done they told us buisness again! then back to casual fridays all year.. currently we are in Jeans are allowed all december long!! whoo hoo!

I am a teacher so I dress up all the time. Some teachers I work with dress very casually but I like to dress up...we wear jeans on Friday though.

Well I do presentations for large groups of teachers so dress pretty formally - usually the first time I am with a group I'm in a skirt suit ( I hate pants suits on me!!) but if I am there multiple times - I dress nice, but more casual - like I might wear a nice skirt and sweater - the most casual I get if I am doing 1-1 coaching sessions but I would still never wear jeans - and then home office day - SOOOOOOOO casual - btwn pjs and sweats!

I work from home so I get to wear whatever I want. I do have to go to job site meeting (work in construction) and when I do its still jeans and comfy shoes and right now very warm clothes!!!!!!

At my old job in NY, I wore a suit every single day. Every single day. I didn't even realize people could work without wearing a suit every day.
I have about 20 suits upstairs (yes, enough so I didn't have to repeat in a month!).
I don't have a job right now in NC, so I basically wear gym clothes in the morning then jeans a sweaters after I'm done working out.
I can't believe people don't have to wear suits every day... I'm so jealous.
