Today will be the baby questions...

What kind of parents do you think u & DH are going to be?
How many kids are you aiming for?
Do you hope for boys or girls?

For those of us that are already moms - what is there to look forward to? What was your favorite age? Any tips?

What kind of parents do you think u & DH are going to be?
I'm kind of afraid in a way. I think my kids are going to prefer my DH over me - because i know he will be more easy going & I'll probably end up being the disciplinarian.

How many kids are you aiming for?
2 or 3.....
Do you hope for boys or girls?
I'd be happy with 1 and 1...But my luck, I'll have 3 boys & theyll be just like their father when he was a kid

I think the same thing.......actually I already know!! DH lets my stepson get away with murder....I do not! So i know he'll probably be the same way with our kid.

We are aiming for 1 possibly 2 of our own.

Im hoping for a girl but will probably have a boy since there are all boys on DH's side of the family.

I hope we are good parents that provide the best for our children.

Aiming for 2...hopefully one of each would be ideal but healthy is the most important thing for us.

Do you hope for boys or girls?
We hope for one of each...I dont mind girls or boys they each have their own issues, LOL!!! Dh would like a boy I know so that he can rough house with and play sports but I think he would do that with a girl as well.

haha my DH is the same - if we have a girl, she'll still have ice skates on and a hockey stick in hand.
And then i'll be running her to dance classes

Im already a mom of a soon to be 15 yr old as of next month.
I am a good mom and teenage years are the worst.

as of now DH and I arent having more kids. We have 2 dogs and want more, if that counts.

If we were to have kids it would be 1 and we want a girl.

What is there to look forward to? What was your favorite age? Any tips?

I think DH and i will both be great parents!!
we both would like 3 or 4! but that might change when we have our first one, but def more than 1!
I use to want all boys!! but now i kinda think having a girl would be fun too! soo pretty much i want a healthy baby! could care less really what we have!

Kind of parents: Dh will prob let things slide and I'll be the one enforcing the rules... lol I want 2 kids, DH wants 3... 1 boy and 1 girl would be nice! Dh def wants a boy and he intends on not giving up until he gets one

Well if my cousin is any indication, we would spoil our child rotten, hence we want 0 children for like 8 to 10 yrs and if we decide later on to have any, we would only have 1 child.

I wouldn't care either way boy or girl but if I had girls they would totally be on Little Miss Perfect or Toddlers n Tiaras so I'm probably better off (or my child would be) if its a boy.

I think we will be fun parents but strict. DH is wonderful with children. My parents were strict with me and so was his, so I think we will set very rigid boundaries. Hopefully we get kids that were like both of us, that listened to the rules instead of challenging them. Judging by Candy i will be the more strict parents and he will be the pushover.

We want 2. I hate being an only child and he hates being one of 3, so 2 is perfect.

I want either 2 girls or a boy and a girl. DH would prefer one of each but would rather have 2 girls then 2 boys as well. I am surprised because I figured he would want to pass on his motor work skills, but then my mom was an only girl and her father taught her. He is so good with handling girls though.

I’ll probably be the yeller. DH is a kindergarten phys ed teacher so he’s used to little kids all the time… I know he’ll be an awesome dad.

How many kids are you aiming for?
Hopefully 2.

Do you hope for boys or girls?
1 of each would be great… but I know DH wants at least one boy! (so he can name it Cougar. )

DH will definitely be the one who spoils our children while I will be the strict disciplinarian. He's definitely more laid back than I am.

We want 2 but at our ages, if we have one, we'll consider ourselves lucky.

I'd love girls - I'm 1 of 3 girls and love all the 'girlie' stuff. DH says he doesn't care but I know he'd be so happy if we were to have a boy.

Well all I have to say is that my son was GREAT til the age of 12 and all I get now is attitude. But on the weekemds he goes out alot, if he's not punished,lol.

Parenthood is great and never miss a moment, you'll regret it.

My biggest tip is dont spoil your child!!! This is coming from a mom and a pre-school teacher. I didnt spoil my son, he got what he needed and pretty much all the things he wanted, even as a single mom.
My son never had a tantrum in any store with me, EVER!!!! That is a big shock to most people.

As a teachers reasoning with the spoiling I have been dealing with kids that do not listen and this has alot to do with parenting. If they go home and have no structure and get everything they want then why should they listen in school? So I work hard everday with their children and when they go home its just thrown out the doors. I do have some parents that actually listen and go to me for alot of advice and listen

Another tip would be always be there for them, show them lots of love, give them rules/ structure to follow, show them manners and always praise them. Whent hings are bad try to be positive with them. At times it';s real hard because you get caught up in the moment but, talk with them and LISTEN.

Ok I think I have babbled long enough

i think we will be great parents, once we square away our lives. right now babies wouldn't be ideal for us, b/c we are still adjusting to new schedules and jobs.

i want 2 boys and a girl ideally, but i will settle with just ONE GIRL and to spoil her!

i think dh and i will make fun parents!!!

one thing we both want is to be involved in our kids life..give them everything we never had and to ALWAYS be there no matter what

we will def try to get them into sports since it was such a big part in our lives but if my daughter wants to be a ballerina..i would throw that tu tu on her!!!!

We hope to be extremely fair parents and work from day one on trust between all of us. Everyone always lied to each other growing up in my house causing fear, anger and resentment. I hope to do the exact oppsoit.

How many kids are you aiming for?
If it was up to me i would say 5 , DH would say 2 for Financial reasons. we will see

I think we'll be incredibly nerdy and embarassing.

1! We want to be able to travel and such with our family, and more than one makes that dream a little less possible (for us, anyway).

Do you hope for boys or girls? I kind of lean toward the idea of having a girl, but it's like 51%/49%.

What kind of parents do you think u & DH are going to be?

I think we're both going to be very hands on parents. I'm definitely going to be the stricter of the 2 of us.

As long as they're healthy we don't care..

What kind of parents do I think DH and I are going to be?

Honestly, I think I'm going to be an over-protective, critical, impatient, high strung nut. I think DH is going to be completely laissez-faire, abdicate everything to me, no discipline, complete good-cop syndrome. But I think it'll work out somehow. I know damn straight I'm not letting my kids turn out to be like some of the kids I saw in my town at the restaurant I used to work at with their azzhole parents.

At least 2, possibly 3 depending on how timing and finances work out.

Do you hope for boys or girls?

Boys! I want all boys. I don't know if I could deal with a mini-me Plus, I have way more faith in my ability to produce a really good looking son than daughter.
