We will be at my cousin's wedding on V-day but since we both have the next day off I just mentioned to him last night that we should go out to a steakhouse for dinner.

Any suggestions? We have been to Ruth Chris and want to go somewhere we have never been but stay on LI.

we have our own holiday on the 13th called tomgina..pronounced tomgeeeena lmao

We're pretty broke from the house too so we'll probably just stay in and watch tv and veg all day. Maybe order in. I actually would prefer that over going out! I already got a v-day gift from DH and I think im just gonna get him a card with 2 tickets to see Avatar. Hes been dieing to see it and i think he'll really like that!

I don't know if we'll be doing anything. I have the misfortunate of being born 3 days after, which is a Wednesday this week, so my bday and Valentines always ends up getting lumped together, and I've already been instructed to pick ONE restaurant for both holidays, no unique restaurant trips this year. So we're going to go to either 21 Main or Simply Fondue for both Valentines and my bday, but since the weekend before my bday is Valentines weekend, both will be packed I'm sure, so we might do it a week later...I don't know. I feel like I'm going to end up cooking and cleaning up afterwards just like any other sunday night.

I am not sure hwat we are doing yet. Probably something low key...maybe brunch my favorite! My BIG gift is that DH is off that night.

DH is now moving in that weekend but, also helping his parents move to Penn. so Im hoping he will be back Saturday night.
I was planning something for him on Saturday for his b-day/ V-day but, now it's not happening.
I'll make him breakfast and all and see what happens considering his B day is the day after

Well since its our 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY (OMG YAY)!!! We are going to Vermont for 4 nights. We got a beautiful house with lots of fireplaces etc. Night will be great dining at nice restaurants, wine & music in front of the fireplace, some lovin lol Daytime will be skiing, snowboarding & tubing. lol FUN FUN Cant wait!

Frank's Steaks is awesome. Kinda like a Ruth's Chris.

My dad is Feb 17th too. We ar ecelebrating his Bday Feb 20th at a nice restaurant.
