How do we want to handle tie breakers for superlatives?
Due to my process of elimination technique, there's a particular category (so far) where we only have 5 girls left, each having been voted for ONCE. I can eenie meenie miney moe it, use myself as a tie-breaker, or eliminate the category completely. I will not publicly post it, because that would be humiliating and wrong of me I think.
I am but your humble servant here...if there's any preferences, please let me know what you think would be the fairest.

I already voted, and the person i voted for already won another category so they're not in the running for this one anymore.

I would say just eliminate it.

I would say either eliminate it or do a re-vote for that one particular category. I am thinking that is way too much work for you though so I would probably just remove it from the list.

OK....I am done with everything except for 2 categories...the first category is a 5 way tie with 1 vote apiece (personality) and the other is a 2 way tie, and neither of them won another category so that I can do the bump down technique (wedding related).
In terms of the wedding related category, one of the girls who are tied already won a personality category by a majority. I'm thinking that the tie breaker in that case should go to the other, who had not won anything prior. But that still leaves me with a 5 way tie!
If no one is opposed I can just tie break it...I just don't want to seem like I'm manipulating the votes or anything.

I say just pick. If you post which it is, the person who gets that category will know the whole background, which doesn't sound fair.
or
Maybe you can let the few girls who never got their ballots in send you theirs and you can just count their votes in those two categories and see if it helps?

I think if its just 1 vote a piece then no one really thought it was clearly them, so I would eliminate the category. It would be different if they each had 5 or 6 votes... then maybe I would tie break it.
