Timeline for Thank Yous

How long do you have to get your TY cards out? I just ordered mine yesterday and I should have them by the end of next week. It will be almost 3 months already!

I am so behind!

Technically, you have a year. I would do them as soon as you get them. Mine had a photo printed on front and I had to wait 10 weeks for them, then another 4 for the thank yous, so I was sending them at the 4 month mark.

Mine came in yesterday and I feel like they should have been out already. But I'm crazy like that - I did my shower thank you's when I got home from the shower!!!

Technically it is a year due to that lovely 'one year to give a present' rule, but most are sent w/in 3 months. Mine will be at 7 months b/c we are doing photo CD's & they are taking forever.

mine should be in any day now. i want them in the mail by july 15th! we're hopefully going to be moving soon and i want these things doen asap so its one less thing to worry about!

I can top that...I'm still waiting for one from October of 99!!

Anyhow, I'm in the process now and hope to have them out before our honeymoon on July 10th...I have been married for 3 1/2 mos.

I got mine out about 6 weeks after the wedding...I had ordered them with the invites, so I didn't have to wait later for them to come in.

When my friend announced his divorce (at the 10 month mark)

I said, 'that's a shame, you guys never even got a chance to do your thank-you's'

Turns out, they did do them and I never got mine. And, they actually sent me one, with a photo, while they were in the midst of their divorce...
