Re: to those familiar with riviera maya and iberostar
I looked into a couple of Iberostars in Mexico and they looked great and got great reviews but then opted for the Adventura Spa Palace at the last minute when I went to the Riviera Maya last year. Are one of those a new Iberostar - I think I heard they opened a new one somewhere - if so I would go in a second? I like the Iberostar chain. I know people who stayed in a couple in Mexico and loved it and I stayed at 2 in Dr and had great experiences.
Here are some online reviews of the resorts

Re: to those familiar with riviera maya and iberostar
I originally was going as a group and I think the Iberostars were slightly cheaper. Plus most of the group that was originally suppose to go went to the Iberostar in DR with us - so we figured we all liked it - let's go back. When everyone bailed - DH and I did some looking around and stumbled upon the Adventura Spa Palace and liked it and didn't mind spending the extra money...so we decided to try something new. I have lots of pictures from the Adventura so if you want to see more - I can FM them to ya - just let me know.

Re: to those familiar with riviera maya and iberostar
We just had a group go to the Iberostar Pariso Lindo and they LOVED IT!!!! It is much nicer than the Tucan. If you stay at the Lindo, you can go over to the Tucan or the del Mar and have use of their facilitites but if you stay at the del Mar or Tucan you do not have use of the Lindo facility. The Lindo is the best of the 3 Iberostars in the Riveria Maya area.

No experience with Iberostar but just wanted to say you're making a great choice going there. We went for our honeymoon, stayed at the Royal Hideaway.Welcome New Vendors
