I can't believe it was a YEAR ago today already!!! Amazing how quickly it went by, sometimes it feels like our wedding was just last week, then other days it seems like YEARS ago! We can't really do anything tonight since Craig doesn't get home from work until 10 - so we celebrated early on Friday instead! Had an absolutely BEAUTIFUL dinner at Fox Hollow for our early anniversary celebration, the food was amazing and we had such a nice time! It wasn't crowded at all, and it was so romantic since everything was pretty quiet and relaxed - they had a piano player too - he actually serenaded us at the end once they found out it was our anniversary!! Then the chef came out and gave us a bottle of champagne AND they brought out our dessert singing Happy Anniversary! It was such a relaxing and romantic dinner! What a nice night - a wonderful way to ring in our first year as hubby and wife

I've been defrosting my year old cake top in the fridge since Friday...... Being that we never did anything to preserve it other than cram the cardboard box in the back of the freezer, tonight's 'dessert' should taste interesting to say the least! Oh well, at least we got Easter candy from my mom!!

Aww, thanks again everyone for your nice wishes I made an 'anniversary meatloaf' for dinner, and for dessert - Craig and I actually had a HUGE surprise....
OUR YEAR-OLD CAKE TASTED AMAZING!!!!
I couldn't believe it!!! It actually tasted JUST LIKE it did over a year ago - it was such a nice treat!!! We had cannolli filling with a buttercream icing, and eating it last night was a total trip back to when we ate our first piece of wedding cake! It was so nice Golem was behaving very nicely too, he must have known it was a special day for Mommy and Daddy, because he just slept on the floor all night! Nice anniversary - I just wish Craig was able to get home a little earlier than 10:00 during the week!
