There is no way she would ever know. I registered there and bought a few things off my own registery and it showed that I paid full price.

I think the $40 you spent is fine, it's the thought that counts not the monetary value. If you planned to spend $50 but used coupons and got the same thing for less; 1) she's not going to know and 2) she'd prob be glad you got a good deal!!

But if you're also going to get her a bottle of wine then that's fine. No need to get her something else on top of what you've already gotten just to reach the $50 mark for the actual gift.

I think what you spent is fine - she will never know if you used a coupon or not. If you try to get something else - your going to end spending more than you planned to.
