I have quite a few

1) People who use the toilet and leave the cover up
2) People who do not wash their hands after using the rest room
3) women who run their hands thru their hair while you are standing behind them
4) People who drive and do not indicate
5) I cannot sleep with the bedroom door open
6) I cannot sleep with the closet door open
7) People who butt in to conversations
8) People who hit their hands when they are asking you for the time...LOL j/k
9) People who comes to my desk when I am having my lunch and picks out of my food w/o even asking, and it might be the same person who does not wash their hands from the bathroom..LOL

I can't wait to hear what you ladies have to say.

Anna you are too much

Close talkers are a no no for me

What about those thhat does not know personal space

Or people who see the elevator is full and they force themselves in

I used to love when people asked me what time it was and i WAS wearing a watch, and i'd say 'sorry, i dont have the time' I did that if it was a SKEEVY pervert that just wanted to exchange any words !!
LOL, ok that sounded like me tooting my own horn, you know what i mean, those gross guys !

Oh what about 'personal space' on the subway ??
thats a whole other thread ! when the subway car is empty and someone sits rigght by YOU ! WO ! thats annoying ! and people that STARE (i dont miss the subway at all !! im confrontational, i would say 'Excuse me, whats the problem ? WHAT are you staring at ???' i dont miss that stress-rush of rush hour !

LOL Coleen, you are so right. I hate mispronounciation...that makes me want to say do you know you said that wrong.

Anna, why do they choose to sit right next to you when the entire car is empty, are they afraid of sittig by themself

I saw this lady in Old Navy this evening picking her nose...YUCK, use a tissue lady

Oh and my stepson he puts the recyclables next to the garbage and I hate it, I hate crumbs on the ground, crumbs on the counter...SHEESSh!!!

When people read over the person next to them shoulder. Whether its a book, magazine, newspaper, term paper, love letter, whatever these people don't care! Ugh! If its me i immediately put away whatever it is and if its happening to someone else it drive me even more bonkers because there is absolutely NOTHING I can do about it! MIND YOUR OWN P's & Q's - Get your own darn paper!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mispronunciations - that is too easy. In fact I'm a huge offender!! Its funny though, when I hear it from someone elses mouth it goes through me, when I say it I hardly hear it!

Oh I'm a big offender with New Yawk-isms! I 'wanna, coulda, shoulda' with the best of 'em! I try to be aware, but sometimes i just get so caught up in conversations... It doesn't help that I talk at about 1000 miles an hour either.

I am not a newlywed but just had to!!!
bearsbabe (7 train) and Jennrenee (handtowels), i just laughed so loud i woke FH up three rooms away!!!!
LMFAO!!!!!!!!!

I had to add mine:

-People who speak a different language in front of you, how rude!!!!! This is America!

-I am thin so people ask 'do you eat?' , I feel like replying. 'No, I live off breathing the fu&*^% air'!!!!
or they say, 'you can model, how much do you weigh?'. do i go around asking fat ladies what they weigh??? Hello wheres the **** common sense here people?!?

-people (foreigners) who sit and complain about America (if you don't like it go back to your country!)

-liars

-people who don't use deodorant, or one that works!

When people walking down the street, LOUDLY hack up a huge phelgm wad and then just spit it out onto the sidewalk in front of you!

I HATE when people liter. I can't believe people who think the world is their garbage can. Can you imagine just dropping a soda can on the ground when there is a garbage can a few feet away!!

On the same note - when people spit their gum on the ground... I see people do it all the time and I want to say, 'Excuse me, why don't you step on your gum before you ruin someone else's day when they do!!'

(I live in NYC... maybe this doens't happen in the 'burbs)

My funniest pet peeve is when people say 'ATM Machine or SAT Test or PIN Number'

What a great thread. I had to respond becuase I have so many pet peeves. I have seen a lot of them here already - people standing too close, people who do not thank you when you hold the door for them (I also say 'you're welcome'), open closet doors at any time, open bedroom doors at night, closed bathroom doors at any time when not in use, chairs that are not pushed back in after being used, children who are running around like maniacs in public places and people who don't hold up their hand as a gesture of thank you when you slow down in traffic to let them in.

Sorry, Bearsbabe, I am an attorney who walks up to paralegals and secretaries and starts talking to them while they are on the phone. GUILTY. But if they aren't speaking, I never notice until after I have said what I needed to say. I'll try to be better now that I know that is something that is talked about on internet chat boards
