Re: Traditional Photographer or Photojounalistic??
Well I have to say that I've seen most of the photos of everyone that posted on this thread & I can remember exact shots off the top of my head that I loved from each wedding-both traditional & photojouranalistic.Stacedz-I love the pics of you & dh outside the house & the one of you guys at your table(which I think was a snapshot)
Tammy-I loved every picture of you-you are one of the most beautiful brides I've ever seen
Latina-I love the pics of you & DH sitting on the floor & I loved your TY card
Dubliner-I wasn't on much when you posted your proofs-but I so loved that pic of you holding onto the doorway of that castle-so pretty.
I wasn't a member when FebruaryBride posted pics-I don't remember seeing them but I'd love to.
And for everyone else that loved their photos-I could go on for days about the ones I loved.
We had two photographers& we got the mix we wanted-I have a complicated family & needed lots of posed shots for that reason.
Our less traditional shots are very telling of our day & the way we really felt. I love both styles for different reasons.
We simply didn't have time to take pics at another location-I wish we did & there were some special lenses(like the fishbowl)that I wish I would have known about & asked for.
All in all I love my pics, but I don't love my album-it just didn't knock my socks off.
wow I babbled!

DH says we can get all dressed up again and hire a photographer to take pics...but it wouldn't be the same.
I know it won't replace wedding pics...but why don't you start a tradition of getting pics taken on your anniversary...by a photojournalist...
its something we all should do...its a nice keepsake

Re: Traditional Photographer or Photojounalistic??
I had both and was really happy. My friend only had candid/photojournalistic shots and she realized afterward she didn't have ONE picture where her and her DH were looking into the camera. I would have regretted that, so I'm glad I had both.We had 2 photogs - one for traditional shots, and one for B&W candids and photojournalistic. To me, that was the best of both worlds

Re: Traditional Photographer or Photojounalistic??
I wanted 3/4 photojournalistic and 1/4 traditional- which I knew the parents really wanted. My album is 80% photojournalist, 20% traditional.Welcome New Vendors
