Trash the Dress without ruining the dress???

I am interested in doing a trash the dress shoot, however, I don't want to ruin my dress. I definitely want to clean and preserve it after the shoot is done. My favorite shots are in the water shots, would these be out of the question if I don't want to ruin my dress? What are some other TTD ideas??? Please post pics if you can!! TIA!!

Re: Trash the Dress without ruining the dress???

I did mine in the city with Amanda Picone LVE her. My dress is definitely NOT trashed and we had so much fun.

You can check my album for pics - the girl who took my pics took me to Fort Totten near the Throgs Neck bridge and another park in Queens and we just took pics out there. The dress got dirty but not trashed by any means.

Re: Trash the Dress without ruining the dress???

I went in the water. My dress is actually in great condition- no water stains or anything like that. In fact it might be cleaner than it was right after our wedding day! My dress is lace.

ETA: This is a picture of the train taken on our anniversary when I decided to throw the dress on again for fun. No stains, no tears, just perfect!

Re: Trash the Dress without ruining the dress???

Thanks so much for your replies girls!! Your pics are all great! My dress is raw silk so I don't know if getting it wet would ruin it. I have to look into this more...

Thanks again!
