Re: traveling with passport that has your maiden name
What name did you use to book your plane ticket? I'm pretty sure that the reservation has to match the passport. But maybe its possible to also provide a copy of the marriage license? Sorry, I'm no help cuz i'm really not sure!

As long as you booked your flight in your maiden name.

ITA!! They only look at your passport for ID and the name on the passport MUST match your tickets. So if you don't want to get a new passport just yet, just book in your maiden name and then change your passport later on.

Definitely have him book it in your maiden name. My sister and I are flying to Italy next month and I booked my ticket in my maiden name. You're going to have a blast in St. Maarten! I'm jealous!

Re: traveling with passport that has your maiden name
I am traveling in Feb. so I was worried about this too.
But, I mailed it to the passport office on January 8th along with a COPY of my marriage license and they had it back to me on the 14th. I didn't pay extra either. The website says that the most time it will take is 2 weeks.
I am glad I did it and got it back so fast.
Good luck and have a great trip!!
