DH & I were sitting here tonight....& I was looking at pictures of my nephew and I said I cannot believe how big he is getting. So I turned looked at him and I said sometimes looking and being with him makes me want to be a mommy so bad....would you rather have a baby or go to Europe first?? sort of half kidding (thinking his answer would immediately be europe)......
He said I'd rather have a baby....I almost fainted lol So he said but I know you'd really like to go to Europe so I was thinking maybe we could go this fall and start TTC after it. My eyes filled up with tears & then complete and utter nervousness came over me.
Anyway....I feel lost...like I have no idea where to start. I mean...clearly I know how to concieve but I know that a lot more goes into it then just having sex but I feel clueless. & I know we have PLENTY of time but Please tell me I'm not alone on this....
& lastly...anyone recommend TTC books?(maybe I shouldn't write BOOK) but a helpful site? that I could just read....

That's so cute!!! Dh and I went to Italy last year, knowing we wanted to do that first! I bought a book called Getting Pregnant, which is very interesting! So exciting!!!

That is sooo exciting.. I understand the nervousness.. DH wants to start trying this fall/winter and I'm very nervous too!! We are actually going on a european cruise in the beginning of June. Is that the pre req to baby making lol???!!!!

Devon, Thank you so much for posting this question. We need information on this too. We are so new to this and really want to start a family. My cousin got married in June 2007 and she is now pregnant with twins due May 5, 2008. She is going to have a and a . We are so happy for them but we would love to be pregnant too.

how exciting!! congrats!! i cant wait to hear the news! good luck and many blessings! first, here is a tip when ttc : organize a passion party step two: buy lots of goodies! wait, i think you got step one down, so, onto step two it is!
um i know a few friends of mine went off the pill and just waited for nature to take its course. there is less pressure that way.

awww Devon you are not alone... it is a scary & exciting time! I did a lot of research on line... take prenatal vitamins 1-3 months before you start (with folid acid) and just have fun 'baby dancing' with your hubby!
