TTC Spinoff

When you decide to TTC are you going to wing it or use OPK's and stuff? (Ovulation Prediction Kits)

If we decide to try and have children, we will start with the Wing It method and see what happens.

I just plan on having some fcuking FUN!!!!

If after several months I don't get pregnant, then I will chart and do OPKs. Otherwise, just keep up with our normal sex routine, minus the condoms!!

We are going to wing it at first and see how it goes. We might consider NFP though when we start having kids, so I guess that wouldn't technically be winging it.

We want to try for baby boys -- so you have to know as precisely as possible when you're ovulating so -- we most definitely will not be winging it.

If we don't conceive after say 4-6 months - we'll quit being so pickychoosy and have sex during MORE of our fertile days, not just on the 'male-baby' days.

I'm going to have to talk to my doctor about it. I have PCOS and see a reproductive endocrinologist who told us it would be more difficult for us to have kids.

I know when I ovulate, so that helps. Im not going to go crazy with the charting and OPK's because I think *for me* it will take the fun out of it and make me get too crazy about it. We have a lot of s e x to begin with, so I'll just make sure we keep that up, especially on and before I ovulate!

so winging it, but I know a lot about how and when to conceive and very in tune with my body.

I think we're going to wing it for awhile when we're ready. DH thinks he has super sperm (don't they all) so he thinks in one shot it's going to happen. My sisters an OB so she said after we're done winging it and we need more help, she'll go over it all with me if I need to (saves me a co-pay)!

Honestly I am not sure. I would love if once DH & I decide we are ready to just stop BCP & see what happens but I will have to discuss with my doctor first. I am on preventative migraine medication & am 95% sure that I will have to stop taking that once I become prego so I will need to be under doctors care.

Probably wing it at first and if it doesn't happen then definitely start looking into the OPKs.

Me too but my GYN said we shouldn't have a problem... I'm not worried. Maybe because I'm not trying
