So all i've wanted to do is go on vacation but now i have a house, so thats not gonna happen any time soon, all i can do is dream and hope and save some $ to go somewhere...
So today's question of the day is
Are you saving any money for a vacation any time soon? Or will you guys be going on a anniversary minimoon in the near future?
DH and i have talked about it, and we have discussed that we are gonna save money over the next year or two, and go back to Sandals and do our honeymoon all over again, but this time we are gonna try for a baby, and if it happens its meant to be.... guess we will see in a year or two...

I’m always dreaming about going on vacation, but since we’ll (hopefully) be closing on our house in the next few months I don’t think we’re going anywhere anytime soon!

Great question!
We are saving to go to Hawaii in October-DH's best friend is getting married on the island of Kawaii on October 9th.
SO we're making it a mini-moon, although we'll be sharing a condo with friends. We are going to have a blast!

I am ALWAYS saying I want to go on vacation. But really all vacation plans are on hold for now since DH is out of work. If he gets a job in the next few months we will plan a 1 year anniversary trip...maybe a cruise or something.
But in a few weeks we are going on a weekend trip to Foxwoods with my sister and BIL that I am super excited for!

Saving for our New Orleans vacation in April then going to Italy in June which is are early anniversary present to one another since I will be in school in September.

We don't have plans for a vacation because we are hoping to be preggers this year.
But we are both going to Charlotte, NC individually...lol. Our best friends live there and I am going to visit mine in March and he is going to visit his in May.

We are trying for weekends away, and saving for a house. Our vacation this year might be renting a house on Fire Island for a week (if we can find another couple that wants to join us). Would feel like going away but no airfare.

We would love to, but we need furniture. I wish we could go somewhere romantic, just the two of us. But we have to go to Newport in May for a wedding and Louisville in Oct, plus we are going to go visit friends in Boston next weekend and friends in DC in April. And were going skiing in Feb at my grandfather's ski house. So we have plenty of little trips ahead of us.

i dream about vacation every day of my life! whenever we have one planned i have a countdown at my desk and let all my coworkers know daily how many days i have left! LOL
this year end of july...we are going on a cruise! its been planned for a long time so thats the only reason we are going! its a family cruise! 7 day cruise, leaves from new york and docks in bermuda for 3 days!!
otherwise with the house and all this will prob be the last one we take for a while!! after that we will be saving for a while to go to disney! prob wont happen till our first kid is like 4! and concidering im not even prego or trying to get prego it will be a while!! LOL
but we've been to lots of places, bahamas, 2 cruises, cabo, aruba, florida, and dont a bunch of really fun weekend trips, pittsburgh, baltimore, pilly, camping!! so good thing we got it all out of our system since we will never be able to afford one again!! LOL

We mighte be going on a cruise next January with my parents, sister, and BIL. If that doeasnt happen Eric and i are going away for our anniversary. Not sure where, maybe still a cruise.

After going away for the HM, DH realized that vacations like that aren't bad and he really liked it, so he wants to go away again around the same time next year, so depending on if I get a job and money, hopefully we will be going. If, not every summer we go to Lake George for a week with his whole family and have a fun time at the beach

we are talking about doing something for out anniversary in May and its his birthday too so we might do something. my mother in law has offered to watch her for the weekend so we can go away.. but we'll see.

We're just starting to look in to planning our real HM to Greece this summer...I can't wait ahhhh!!! But not saving any more or less because of it. We have the money for it, just a matter of coming to terms to spending it lol. Greece is flipping expensive!

We are either going sailing in the US and BVI's or driving cross country. DH is turning 30 so it will be a 30th/1year/ need a vacation vacation.

We are planning to go to the Dominican Republic in August. Part of DHs business is based there and I have never been and I really want to go. We plan to spend a few days at a resort lying on the beach and then DH is going to show me the farms where they grow the fruit and the pack house. We will also do the tourist thing in the capital. I would love to plan a long weekend maybe to Vegas but I think it may have to wait our schedules are crazy right now.

We are thinking of going to Disney for our 1 year anni (plus it'll be our birthdays too)...or we've toyed with the idea of going to Cali for a few days in October.
Either way, we're hoping to save up to go to Amsterdam next Thanksgiving....I've been there already & DH is dying to go. While I dont mind Amsterdam, I'd much rather go to Ireland or Italy...
