Not to sound utterly stoopid but then will the E-Ring stop turning as well?

so annoying! i got a ring gaurd...i wasn't crazy about the idea at first - but u really can not notice it..SO glad i got one! .and this way if i ever get pg or gain weight or what have u - i can just take it off.

gettin' urself a set of balls is good too ( ) but i've heard that later on they can break off leaving sodder marks which is why i went with the gaurd instead...plus like i said - less permanent because u can take it off urself if u need too..

Is the ring guard the thing that is placed on the ring (like a second piece of metal)?
And do you place them on both or the one that turns the most?

I meant the 'band' of the ring that's turning, but I guess I didn't need to say that. You know what I mean? Whichever one is turning on you. I think it's supposed to be more comfortable than a ring guard, and it's better than having the band cut.

Re: Turning Rings

I got the balls put on mine. Never heard of the sodder mark thing but the balls are on the inside of the band so imo no would see it anyway.

I'm sure u can do one on each, just one, or even get one thats all connected???

I have one just on my e-ring because it was constantly turning. made a HUGE difference and i don't even feel it. it's kind of a half ring inside ur ring...u can kind of see it here...it just sits along the bottom of the band...and i got a flex one so it moves with my finger instead of a solid metal.

I have the balls in my ering and it was the best thing i ever did.... it does turn every once in a while, but i love looking at my rings so i do not mind adjusting !!!!

However, my rings do turn (yellow) from the acid level in my body. However, the OP wasn't asking about that kind of turning.

My friend and I used the same jeweler, I'm pretty sure we both got 18k white gold and i've had my ring dipped twice since i've had it (2 years). the last time was in september right before the wedding. She's had hers for 2.5 years and hasn't had it dipped since then and our rings are both a similar shade of yellow. it's only the part that touches my skin...
