Re: Turning Rings
My wedding band always turns not the engagement ring and i find it so annoying! I was going to get another ball put in it but i think I might have some swelling from the pregnancy so I will wait till after the baby.

However, my rings do turn (yellow) from the acid level in my body. However, the OP wasn't asking about that kind of turning.
mine do too! didnt know THAT kind of turning was from the acid levels!!! lol
My friend and I used the same jeweler, I'm pretty sure we both got 18k white gold and i've had my ring dipped twice since i've had it (2 years). the last time was in september right before the wedding. She's had hers for 2.5 years and hasn't had it dipped since then and our rings are both a similar shade of yellow. it's only the part that touches my skin...
My ering turned SO quickly that I had it changed into a plat band. Matt says it's because I am so acidic. It's the pH level in your body, Michelle, that does it. If your pH is more acidic or basic (I don't know which one it is, we just joke about it being because I'm acidic), it will change the color of the gold. My wedding band is plat. too now. They do not change color anymore! But it was pricey. If you can deal with it or it doesn't need to be dipped very often, don't worry about it. I had mine dipped 4 times in a year.
