I loved him in the book and I know everyone will disagree with me, but since Robert Pattinson got the role and I now see him as Edward I can't see Edward the same way anymore. He really doesn't do it for me. I don't know how I pictured Edward in my mind when I read the books, but it def wasn't like him. I guess part of it was that he is supposed to be from another century and Pattinson is to rugged for that. I really don't find him good looking enough to be infinitely gorgeous like Edward is supposed to be.
Go ahead... tell me I am wrong. I know most women love him.

I kind of know what you mean.. I actually did picture him to look like that only maybe a bit more handsome... For me, it's seeing Robert Pattinson NOT as Edward that turns me off. I think he is WAY better looking in the Twilight movie than he is at any other interview or event I have seen him in and for some reason that turned me off to Edward a bit. I know that makes no sense!![]()

It makes perfect sense. He is hotter in the movie then in person. Its probably because of the soft film lense, he has very hard features. But I agree, he embodies Edward now so anytime you see him you think of Edward, and thats the problem. Glad I read the books before the movie, I enjoyed my own vision of him.
and i totally thought the same thing! my friend was obsesed with the books i use to make fun of her, i saw a movie poster before twilight movie came out and im like you are soo in love with a guy that is suppose to look like that??! i read the books and thought oooh my goodness hes perfect! lol
