Two and a half weeks to our vacation ...

... and it CAN'T COME FAST ENOUGH! I'm a wreck. Between my job completely invading the rest of my life because it is causing me to be in a crushing depression, having our future so up in the air and undefined until the end of the year, feeling so unmotivated to do anything remotely healthy for myself and strained (at the very best) relations with my ill father ... I need a break!

I feel so terrible lately because when I come home I can't seem to shake the day off of me ... I'm either angry or depressed ... and DH is being so supportive it breaks my heart. It can't be fun or fair to him lately and I'm trying so hard not to be a Debbie Downer, but I'm in a really tough place.

DH is traveling for work next week and I want to do something nice for him to come home to. I think our vacation will work wonders for us but in the meantime ... what can I do? I am honestly thinking about baking him a cake, because I don't cook at ALL and I think he would never expect that.

Bleh ... just needed to vent.

No one deserves this vacation coming up more than you two, and I just know you'll be able to put everything else aside and have fun like only you and your DH can!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have fun on the much needed vacation!!! I'm going upstate tonight (mini vacay).... we NEEED to get away for a bit too... so I DEF know what that's like. I hope your vacation is absolute bliss and relaxation!!!!
