TY Address Labels....Q

Would that be really bad? Did anyone do this? (I know I'll probably end up handwriting them, but wanted to see what y'all did). Thx.

They are adorable and they have a little engagement ring on the side and they say newlyweds......love them!!!!

I printed mine out - no one is going to judge you on if you had them printed out nicely or had labels made or hand wrote them... Do whatever is easiest for you

I made labels on the computer. It definitely saved me a lot of time.

My mother had a ton of labels left over from my shower invitations. Avery is the name of the company. You can buy them from Staples or Office Max. I went on www.avery.com and downloaded the template from the website. I already had a list of all the addresses from the wedding invitation saved on Microsoft Word. So all I had to do what copy and paste. It was a beautiful thing. I think I would have gone crazy handwriting the addresses on the envelopes.

Cindy what do you mean? The return address? I ordered labels for the return address, but I have been writing out the addresses for the recipients.

ETA: I also haven't been putting Mr. and Mrs. XYZ, I have been writing out names... I feel that Mr. and Mrs. is so formal and impersonal and that using first names makes them much more personal.

I used clear labels for the recipient's address and then I ordered free labels of a bride and groom from vistaprint. It's definitely ok to use labels, Cindy!

I printed both addresses on the envelope using the printer!

I think all that matters is that the TY note is handwritten and prompt, so if labels make it easier for you to get them out, just do it.

I did receive a TY note that had a pre-printed message inside AND they printed labels....I was like, 'Wow, they really went all out on that, huh?' So yeah, that was tacky, but if you hand write all the TYs I don't think anyone will care about the labels.
