TY card / gift question

ok, first I feel I should make the disclaimer that I'm a stereotypical absent-minded scientist....

I sent out all the TY cards afew weeks ago... I hate to admit it, but we forgot to keep track of who gave checks and who didn't.... I just presumed everyone sent a check / card who didn't send a registry gift

Fast forward:
Everyone received the TY's... aparently, 2 of my friends DIDN'T send gifts. One of them gave flowers, and the other was sending it late... so I thanked them for gifts they didn't send yet.


Now I feel like I was inadvertantly pressuring them to send a gift........

is there anything I can do improve this situation at this point? somehow I expect the answer is no

I dont think that would make them feel pressured...maybe a bit uncomfortable at the most for not giving you a gift. Im really sorry youre in this situation but if they dont bring anything up to you i would just ignore it. You didnt intentionally do it. Maybe give them a call and see if they bring it up, if they do just say something along the lines that 'flowers are still a gift and I thought it was incredibly thoughtful of you to send flowers'....sorry if this doesnt really help lol
