TY dilemma....please help me...(pics included)

Hey Ladies...'tis that time to start getting them done....we are not doing the 'traditional' thank you that the photographer gives you...

I had TY with our monogram on the front made up to match our invites....we thought that it might be nice to send some digitals to close friends and family..people we know will save them.

QUESTION 1: is it ok to send to some, but not all?

QUESTION 2: would you use any of the following pictures, or a combination???

QUESTION 3: Should I just skip pictures all together??

I think its fine to only send to the people who will appreciate it.

Of the choices, the first one is the best but I think the blurring effect they added is too artifical looking. I would take that out or lighten it up.

I know a lot of people don't appreciate the TY pic...but, I think you should send one anyway.

I think your picturs are great! I love the first one or the last one..I like them all, but for thankyou's I especially love the one of the cake cutting and the one of you two kissing! We also had thankyous that matched our invites and sent those to people who we knew would toss the pictures, then to CLOSE family and friends we sent thankyou's with the picture! I think what you are doing sounds very nice!!!!

of the ones you posted, The only one I would use would be the first one where you are cutting the cake. I do agree with Stef on her softening the blurring point. I would also do some crop work on it and take excess off the top.

First off I think all the picts are really nice! Have you posted your wedding picts before? I feel like thats the first time I have seen them!
I actually disagree with a few of the other girls and LOVE the first picture with the blurring! The focus is just on you and DH, which I think is very sweet!
I think its nice to send some digital picts to close friends and family who you know will appreciate them. I wouldnt send too many though, maybe like 2-3. I could get expensive for you to have to print out so many!
For the rest of the guests I would just send the traditional one from the photographer.

I agree with alicia...we sent pics to only those we thought would appreciate them--I mean, really, what's a 25-year old single guy who does nothing but drink beer and play rugby going to do with our pic?

See now, cropped and in black and white, I really like that. One of the reasons I did not pick that one was because I thought it was too busy with all the food and such on the table. I really like that one now.
