TY HELP!

Okay what do i write for people who came but didnt give a gift?

Also - anyone have any suggestions for pretty wording for regular TYs - people who gave cash?

I was planning on waiting to write a thank you to people who didn't give a gift b/c sometimes they don't give one for a few months.

As for people who gave cash. I was going to say something like:

'Thank you so much for coming to our wedding and for your very generous gift. It was so wonderful to see you!...'

And then go on to say something personal.

I don't know if that is the right thing, but it is my plan as of now.

i am kind of writig the same stuff - only close people are getting personal messages tho i just have too many to write LOL i cant think of somerthing different for each one

I sent the people who didn't give gifts TY's with eveyone elses. I just wrote, something like:
'Thank you for sharing in our special day. It was so wonderful that you were able to be there with us. blah blah blah.....' Okay I left the blah blah blah out

I wrote something like ....Thank you so much for your generous gift. We are so glad that you were able to share our special day with us! .........it varied from TY to TY. I added more to many of them but this was the basic couple of lines I wrote.

As for those who came and did not give a gift, I'm still scratching my head on this one. I want to acknowledge their attendance but I'm confused as to what to write too! My MIL said to wait because she believed they would send something but it's been almost 4 months. I will probably write something thanking them for being with us and how glad we were they could make it.
