ugh... who else is sick

golfball-sized tonsils, scratchy throat, congestion, and a low grade fever here.....

I HATE being sick... I know, who doesn't.... but there's something really irritating about being just healthy enough to pull a full work day, and just sick enough to collapse when you come home

sigh.... alas.... since my poor mentor is REALLY ill and wont be in for another couple months, I must hold fort for the 3 kiddies in the lab, and the new researcher who started this week....

but I would love to stay in bed tomorrow soooo much

anyone else suffering with this evil cold?

I am finally getting over a 4 week sinus/cold infection. My cough is finally subsiding. But now, my ear is stating to bother me a-little.

well, his edema has gone down.... and he can walk around a bit..... but it still will be a long road to recovery..... I figure he'll return to work sometime in late january, if all goes well.

I'm just sooo grateful dr's caught that before something horrible happened.......


shoot, can you believe in the last hour I actually lost my voice completely

Definitely get some throat drops.
Cold Ease w/Zinc.

I was sick for about a week and got better, but my poor parents have had the same cold for like 3 weeks! Apparently a lot of people got sick right after our wedding... whoops.

DH & I have been sick on/off for the last month and a half. It stinks!! Feeling better this week, though so hoping we're done.

I am going on 3 weeks of Sinus infection. The first medicine was working and I felt much better and then the day after Thanksgiving I started to feel sick again!!! I am now on a new medicine and feel a little better!!!

yeah, I gave up today.... have a full throttle fever and laryngitis. DH said 'don't forget to charge your phone'.... my response 'why, I can't use it' so I'm working from home
