Uh-Oh! My stone is loose!

Hey girls. I noticed today when I shook my ring near my ear that I can hear something jngling around So my guess is my stone is loose. I'm going to tak eit to the jewelers this afternoon, but I wanted to ask you girls how long something like this should take? Is it something I can wait around for (like it'll take only a few minutes and they can do it while I wait) or if I need to leave it overnight with them?? I hate doing that

it's a good thing you caught it! I'm going to guess that you'll have to leave it overnight- but I don't know for sure.

It should be a quick fix...all that usually means is that you caught the stone on something that made it a little loose. I guess it depends on where you take it and if they have a jeweller there to take care of it

It shouldn't take long to fix. One of the stones in my ring came loose once, and the jeweler fixed it very quickly. he just had to tighten the prongs. I would suggest that you stick around while it's being fixed and if possible keep an eye on the jeweler. I've heard stories of jewelers switching out the stones of rings that are left for repair.
