umm .. Green Salsa

Is it supposed to bubble? I got it from the mexican rest. yesterday it was in a plastic container in my Ref. - I just opened it it is bubbling.

I think I should not eat it correct?

what is that all about anyway

I think your right - perhaps spoiled. I don't know how that happened b/c I ate it two days ago from the place I just thought maybe someone here knows about the acids in the sauce and it might be o.k

forget that shiit, his stomach is like a safe...he can eat anything and it doesnt bother him

You know reading your post should have made me go about Mexican....instead the word salsa made me call Scott and ask him to bring home a 7 layer burrito for me to make love to

I dono some kind of fomenting is my guess. bacteria?? ewhh I have seen it happen to a jar of pickles. That is the only thing I can come up with.

Something must have gotten into it. Salsa, red or green, is not made with yeast, baking soda or baking powder which are the most common substances out there that produce a bubbling. Salsa is tomatoes, cilantro, lime or lemon juice, and onions or shallots. Sometimes the tomatoes are replaced with fruit. But nothing should be bubbling in it: the citric acid from the lemon/limes should not have that effect. Glad you got rid of it!
