Unecessary hospital stays..
Yesterday was a pretty bad day. thank god for my DH and my mother.went for a baby check up, I had told them about some pain and some brownish spotting i had. dr goes up to look, and it hurts so bad I nearly kick her, she tells me i'm so inflammed and needs a sono. sono tech at the doctor's office is not there, so she demands I be admitted to the hospital next door, where I do not want to deliver or even feel i need to be, but i go without arguement, thinking all i'm doing is dealing with the sono department. oh no, i'm in labor and delivery.
baby is fine, about has fine as he can be, but i had 2 types of sonos done and all the pressing and poking made me feel worse. they tell me they think it's my appendix, which 3 people, including the doctor on duty, could not find in the sono because it's shifted do to the growth of the baby.
they tell me they need a surgeon to check me out. you could only imagine how freaked out i am, but if it wasn't for sitting in a private room with a tv as opposed to the ER with all the chaos, i might have lost it all together.
Surgeon checks me out and says its just a really bad sprained muscle around my pelvis, possibly caused my disc herniations from me back, and the other problem is a bit tmi, but i said it from the very beginning. i know i know, better safe then sorry, but that hospital just reassured me why i'm glad i'm switching doctors. talking to quickly, moving around so much, handling me in such discomfort, only ONE nurse out of the 5 that dealt with me was really nice and took the time to make sure my nerves weren't so high.
and poor DH missed a day of work. i told him he didn't have to come because my mother was there, but he was so worried when they threw the word 'surgeon' in. i wasn't worried as far as my appendix was - i think you must have a fever or vomitting after everything you drink or eat, right? i had neither symptom.
result; bed rest til further notice. its not even a full day yet and i'm already doing this
any good books i can read in the mean time???
ETA: Please forgive my horrible spelling.

I read almost all her books, loved everyone of them, I have heart of the matter here, and I was going to read that because I'm sure I'll finish in a day or two. Some just told me about Jodi Picoult;s books, she wrote 'My SIster's Keeper' and I'm reading her website right now. I don't think she's similar, I'm trying to find some books like that lol. I love girly dramas. lol.
