unique shower gifts

pls post some unique shower gifts i could get for my best friend/ maid of honor/ sil . Im throwing her a shower and I would like to get her something creative- not just off the registry. THanks

The things I got that were different and not off the registry:
A newlywed spice box
spices
A gift certificate to Victorias secret in a pack happy blushing bride bag- you can get that on the wedding channel.
A palm tree photo album from Pottery Barn with a gift certificate to see Tony and Tina's when we are in Hawaii
An afghan with our names and wedding dates.

My SIL just did this for her firned shower.. She took a scrabble board..and went to scrabble .com and ordered more letters and spelled out all the things that her friend and FH had in common and it came out really cool….Also I have bought a gift cert. for the Hotel that the couple was going to for the spa..
