What do you guys find the least enticing about shacking up?

We've all talked about what we love but whats not so cool?

We live in a one bedroom apartment in a brand new luxe building...buuuuuut, our toilet is so ghetto! It clogs if it has to exert even the slightest effort to get something down. I've been at my desk and heard DH plunging....and it makes me crack uppppp so bad....but its not nearly as funny when its the other way around. I like to do my business in peace without stress.

Our bathroom floors and most of all the walls are ALL white. We have to clean it like every day. IDK where the heII it comes from, but there is constantly hair EVERYWHERE. It is gross.

When DH trims his beard and I'm finding beard trimmings for days after.

I'm sure for him it's when I warn him 'I'm going to poo so don't follow me.'

omg.. I find MY hair EVERYWHERE in the bathroom... meanwhile, I don't even get ready in the bathroom, I don't brush my hair in the bathroom... okay, well I didn't.. I just recently started to, but this has been going on since we moved in. and DH HATES that my hair is EVERYWHERE...

anyway.. if we're talking about bathrooms... my tub is GROSS! the people that lived there before us were gross! they NEVER cleaned... I bought a new shower mat... I do not step on anything BUT the mat. I keep saying I'm going to scrub the hell outta it, but I never have time or energy. I'm going to need a 20 pack of mr clean magic erasers! (I used ONE on a 3 inch space... THATS how bad it is!)

Me too! I NEVER brush my hair in the bathroom! Plus, there are always little tiny black hairs floating around and idk whereeeeee they come from! It's not like my DH is shaving every day.

DH always complains about my hair being all over the place. Like in his pajama pockets after I wash them. LOL.

As far as unromantic goes, I hate when I come home after taking a walk around the park & am all gross & need a shower.

The bathroom is the bad zone. He never flushes. I mean never. Everytime he walks out of the bathroom, I don't even look up from what I'm doing, I just shout down the hall 'FLUSH!' as if he's a child that needs reminding. And he shaves and gets his hair all over the sink, too. I used to not be able to complain because I'd get my make-up all over the sink, too, but since he told me it bothered him, I stopped! I make sure my make-up is all cleaned up. But there's still little red hairs everywhere.

Okay so safe to say the bathroom is the danger zone for most of us!

While we're on a roll here I will also add to the list of ladies confused by the hair thing...my hair is all over! But, I wipe it up whenever I see it. Kieran on the other hand will shave/trim his 'beard'/etc and leave his trimmings ALL over! ANNOYING GUYS!

So I have a REALLY funny bathroom story while we're on the topic but you can't hold it against kieran if you ever meet him...he's not SO gross, I promise!

The first night we moved in we went across the street to our neighborhood beergarden and got shytfaced....the next morning I am hung over as sin and I wake up to him clamoring in the bathroom...like there is NO better word besides 'clamoring'.....

So it turns out that the toilet got clogged (this is before we realized what a fragile pot we have) and we hadn't fully unpacked so the plunger was nowhere in sight....I caught him using A POT...A FREAKING POT....in the bathroom. I will leave it there. Needless to say, the SET of his bachelor-pad pots were on their last legs anyways and immediately discarded. After I stopped CHOKING from laughing so hard we had a few words about bathroom cleanliness.....

Ashing his cigarettes in the sink....
Shaving in the tub and not cleaning it......
Leaving his dirty laundry on the floor.........
Leaving his dirty soda glasses around the house.......
Ash trays and X-box controllers on the floor........
Crumbs on the floor when he eats in the living room.........

I could go on forever............

His dirty clothes never make it into the hamper! LOL. Then when I pick up whatever is on the floor and put it in the hamper...he gets mad bc apparently there was some clean clothes on the floor that shouldnt be washed again.

CRACKING UP!! That's awesome and sounds VERY familiar! When I'm in doubt I just toss his stuff in the laundry and he'll be like 'no that was good to go'........umm okay.

OMG...DH does this... When I see him I go nuts .. .he says 'i forgot to flush'...
How does one Forget???

I told him I'm ready to put up signs over the toilet and behind the bath room door ... and then he can explain to people why its there...

Ooohhhhhhhhh... and when DH eats something...
his napkin (paper towel, what ever) goes into the sink with the rest of the dishes..... So I have wet glops of gross in the sink to deal with...

What I don't understand is that DH has to PASS BY THE GARBAGE CAN to even get to the sink!!!!!!!!!!!

DH leaves his mail EVERYWHERE. When I find it, I put it on his pillow so he can't sleep without figuring out a decent spot for it.

like how for the past month i've had my lungs filled with phlegm and spent five minutes every morning trying to cough it up.

i say 'SORRY!' like ten times a day because of that...

Since we were talking about bathrooms... Bathrooms skeeve me... when we moved into our house a guy had been living there with his son for maybe 3 months and everything was pretty clean and brand new but I REFUSED to go to the bathroom until we had everything professionally cleaned. Dh thought I was insane since the one bathroom upstairs had never been used but I don't care. It's gross... I kept going back to our apartment to shower... even the apartment I refused to rent one that hadn't just been redone. I have bathroom issues. If we ever move into a house that isn't brand new I'll be gutting bathrooms before we move in. I'm sick.

But he piles his clothing on top of the dresser instead of putting it away and glasses/dishes are either left in the living room or he puts them on the counter NEXT to the sink NEVER IN THE SINK. WHY????
