OK so I had my period right after going off the pill but I haven't had it since... 9 weeks. And no I am not pregnant. Should I start being concerned?

and no I am not TTC... I just refuse to have any more of the problems I had on the pill and DH thinks I am much happier and less moody so he agrees.

That does seem an awful long time - when I went off in Sept I think it took like a little over 4 weeks - a little longer than my reg cycle usually is to get it. I would def call the dr and just ask if you need to be seen or not. Maybe this is common for some but I've never heard of not getting it in over 2 months...best to be safe than sorry I always say. Email me later & let me know what the dr says...love u!

i just went off the pill too and got my period exactly 27 days later (this was a few days ago). i've heard that it can get wacky after that though. i'd be curious to know what your dr has to say - good luck!!

It took me two months to get my first period, and I'm still averaging about five days early or late after four cycles. It takes a bit to regulate ... But I think after nine weeks you should call your GYN. Likely they can evaluate you and, if necessary, give you meds to make you get your period. HTH!!!

It can definitely get wacky....when I went off I was completely fine for 5 months then all of a sudden no period for about 11 weeks! Turns out I had a cyst and that was preventing me from getting my period, it ruptured and then i'm back to normal.
I will say I wish I was a little more pro-active with finding out what was preventing my period, the cyst ended up being quite painful. It wouldn't hurt to go see the doctor.

mine took about 7 weeks to get mine after i first went off the pill. I would say wait a little longer and in a few weeks (like by the 3 mth mark) if you still don't have it then I would call the Dr.

I got it normal time but its diff for everyone. talk to your dr. if you think somethings up.

it is normal for it to be wacky after you come off. it can take months to regulate. it depends how long you were on the pill and also if you were regular b4 you went onthe pill.
i got mine exactly 28 days later the first 2 months and then after that it started getting wacky.
It never hurts to call the doctor. It was then that i learned that i did have some other problems.

I would call the doctor.
When I went off the pill the first month it was exactly 27 days till it came, then it went to 25 days, 21 days, and then finally regulated by the 4th month being off of it.
Alot of people have crazy cycles coming off of it.

My first cycle was normal and then pretty much every cycle after that was screwed up. So I think having long cycles after coming off the pill is pretty normal.

no... mine is still all wacky! didnt get mine for almost 2 months my frist cycle and then it was like 35-40 days...
but if you are concerned just call your doctor

OK so I got it today. I am glad I didn't rush off to the doctor because I would have been so mad.
I was in a bit of pain last night so it probably was from a cyst and my bet was it burst last night. I get them which is why I have been on the pill for so long. But compared to the stomach pains I was having from the pill the cyst pain wasn't that bad, at least its not constant. I am still going to stay off the pill. At this point its not worth going on a new pill since we are thinking about starting to try in Nov.
