UPDATE!!! I need to know your pots.... PLEASE

For my shower I received pots from BBB and they are horrible!!!!!!!!!!!! (Emerilware™ Pro-Clad Tri-Ply 10-Piece Cookware Set).

Even though they were bought in March, I got them in June for my shower but I just really started using them and they are the worst thing ever. I am totally going back to BBB to see if I could return them (do you think they will take them back? I have the receipt and they were on my registry).

Question for you ladies who registered at BBB, what pots did you buy??? I am no Rachel Ray but I need something.

So I went to BBB and they were so nice and let me exchange my current pots (used) for new ones with no questions asked. So now I am an owner to the Calphalon Contemporary Non-Stick 12-Piece Cookware Set.

DH is expecting my to cook tonight - HA!!!!

I dont know if they will let you return pots that you've already used? They're pretty good about returns but that's stretching it.

I have Paula Deen non-stick got it solely because it's pretty. It works pretty good. I have no problems with it so far.

... then again, I'm -- as you said - no Rachael Ray.

I am going to stretch it and give it a try. The worst they could say is 'no' but I am going to cross my fingers and hope that I could just get something else.

We have Cuisinart pots. DH is the cook & he loves them. Some are new, I received at my shower in January, others are 5 years old, from when we moved into our apartment. Honestly I can not tell which pots are a year old vs. which pots are 5 years old.

Thanks ladies!!!!

EVERYTHING sticks to the bottom of mine. I contacted the manufacturer and they told me what I needed to do to prevent this from happening but it didn't work. I heard they were great that is why I got them but I am not having luck. On my way to BBB to see if there is anything they could do.

Good to hear you got Calphalon! We got an Anodized set (ours are not non-stick but they are safe to put in the broiler/oven), and we love them!

I have Calphalon...we love them!! Ours is Non stick, so we can only use NYLON utensils and soft sponges on them. Also, we don't put them in the dishwasher. We've had them for 6 months so far and they're in great condition & cook really well.

I have Emeril stainless steel. I bought them before we got engaged and LOVE them. I dont like nonstick because of the chemicals and stainless steel lasts for a loooong time. love my pots!!!!

These are the ones we have too - They cook great, clean great, look snazzy lol... Only 'complaint' is that the handles get hot sometimes, since it's stainless steel, but still worth it to have these pots!
