UPDATE Job

I need one of those icons...I just cant figure out which one works

ANYWAY, it went pretty good-I will find out early next week, blah blah blah...BUT its collections...and for some of you who know I worked at a collection firm and DID NOT do collections and did NOT want to.......SOOOOOOOOOO

I love that! I feel like I wasted gas, sleep time and LIW time


BUT the people I spoke to there were very nice and we shall see what happens tomorrow.

Thanks ladies for all the help and luck...I got home and have 3 messages for interviews..

Can someone tell me where the stop calling button is...they are calling too fast

well i'm glad to hear that all in all it went well! collections or not lol(so yooouur the person like calls me 9874529 times a day about my credit card! ) ....and as for all the calls - that's a GREAT thing! just think if it were NO calls. yaay pegs Like Dana said - the right job is out there waiting...no settleing! i'm sure it'll fall right into ur lap & u'll know it when it happens

and they call REAL early in teh AM too

Taryn I dont call no one about their bills!
and trust me-I get those calls too

I dont want to do collections for that exact reason...i dont want to be that person who has to call up someone and not know their personal life. This is different collections tho-its the invoicing part of collections-making sure they have received the invoices, etc. etc. It definitely seems like a really nice place to work. Well see

Hey Peg!! congrats!! even if its not exactly your dreamjob at least it seems promising, and work environment is a huge part of your job, not just the actual work you're doing (if that makes sense lol!!), so if you like the people there, that always helps.

I've done legal collections for Amex, it S*CKED big time, I hated doing 'personal' collections, I released alot of frozen bank accts b/c I would feel bad for the people I'd talk to..which is probably why I left there after a few months!......but I've also done A/R for a large firm, its sooooo much better than collecting on personal debt, and I actually loved doing the cash receipts and research projects. Collections isn't bad as long as the billing dept. knows what they're doing. what's the commute like? long drive? good luck!! can't wait to hear how it goes!
