Update on DH

So DH had a PET test today and it came back saying the cancer didnt spread! so far everything looks good but we are going to another doctor in the city tomorrow just for a 2 opinion. He is sheduled for surgery on tuesday. He will need radiation for 4 weeks. We have to bank his sperm just to be safe. so far the doctor says everything looks good but he has to get a chest x-ray, more blood work and a cat scan just to double check. so im pretty postive right now but still dont want to get my hopes up. we got the news that it didnt spread and thats all we wanted to hear!! DH is in so much pain and i cant wait for them to remove this already! i hate to see him in so much pain! so after his surgery we will find out more. so please keep praying that things stay good and i thank all you ladies for thinking of us!!!

WOW that is such good news!!! I'll keep your DH in my thoughts and hope for a successful surgery, speedy recovery, and easy treatment that will get rid of this forever!! Your DH is very lucky to have you by his side - and now this positive news will give you a boost in helping him stay positive!!

Tara, I just signed on today for the first time in a few days. I was hoping to see a good news update from you and I was so happy when i saw this! Thank God it did not spread. I will continue to keep you and James in my thoughts and prayers. Enjoy Thanksgiving we truly do have so much to be thankful for.
