Update on DH

Update on DH

So DH had a PET test today and it came back saying the cancer didnt spread! so far everything looks good but we are going to another doctor in the city tomorrow just for a 2 opinion. He is sheduled for surgery on tuesday. He will need radiation for 4 weeks. We have to bank his sperm just to be safe. so far the doctor says everything looks good but he has to get a chest x-ray, more blood work and a cat scan just to double check. so im pretty postive right now but still dont want to get my hopes up. we got the news that it didnt spread and thats all we wanted to hear!! DH is in so much pain and i cant wait for them to remove this already! i hate to see him in so much pain! so after his surgery we will find out more. so please keep praying that things stay good and i thank all you ladies for thinking of us!!!

I am so glad to hear that it didn't spread! I everything continues to look up & they can get this taken care of quickly so your poor DH can start recovering.

yeah they gave him heavy meds! he can only take them once a day. im not crazy about it but if its going to make him feel better then thats all the matters! DH HATES i mean HATES taking meds and to see him take a pill before, i knew he was in pain!! but he is feeling pretty good right now LOL

Tara I'm so happy hear the good news. Stay positive and hoepfully after the surgery on Tuesday he'll be feeling a whole lot better

Tara I'm happy to hear the news is good so far. I can't imagine what you guys are going through. I've been thiking of you and you're in my prayers, even though I didn't weigh in when you first posted about this. Keep up your positive attitude, I'm sure it will help!

Oh Im so glad. I was thinjking about you guys a lot lately and how as hard as it is, it is a sort of test from God as he tests us all and you're both showing your indivual strength and your strength together which is so important. I'll keep the prayers and crossed fingers for you guys. Keep us updated.
