update on DH

ladies thanks for all your support ...i have been kinda distant for the last week or so, it has been very overwhelming and i had people texting me calling me, FM' me and facebooking as to what was going on and i could even answer one more of them, b/c it was just to upsetting. but thank you to all that reached out.

So the biopsy came back and its positive for lung disease sarcadosis stage 2. It can be treated and thrown into remission and Tom could have a FULL recovery. Some are cured in as little as a year. If no change they will have to take out a piece of his lung (but this is WORST case)

its been one week on the steroids and let me tell you something...this is NO joke..it has totally change his body in a week. I feel soooooooo bad for him I wish i could take all the pain and anxiety he is going through. But all i can do is be his support system.

Most likely he will need to find a new career goal. he has passed all the tests for SCPD and Corrections, but is just on a waiitng list to be hired, but the doctors are saying that this could now stop him from the job. he is HEART broken.
but on a good note he is going to go back to school to be a teacher, this has been a thought for awhile and i think it will be best suited for him.

This disease is genetic, and bascially with his line of work that he does now has injured his lungs and has brought the disease out. Some ppl can go there hole lifes having this and not even know it. We are just so ooooo thankful we caught it and are able to hopefully fix it
