Finally all fixed, I went for two estimates on LI and then to the city w/ Jenn b/c she always says how she loves her murray! but now I know why, not only was he such a nice, sweet man but he had the best price of everyone and was very patient in showing/telling me things...... and he did it yesterday, others had to order the setting.
I changed the four prong head to six and b/c it was originally set too low now it is a higher setting and he filled in and fixed some other defects the original jeweler didnt do too well so my baguettes on the side do not fall out.
All and all I must say I was very happy w/ him! and will bring my MIL and mom to him as well, my MIL already told me to keep his card, he is a keeper so if anyone ever wants his info you can FM me or Jenn and I think Keesha and a few others Jenn told me.

I have 6 prongs, it is very pretty, it's set medium, not too high, not too low, just what I asked for, but lately now that I have the band, I feel like I want the center stone a little higher, to set it apart, I didn't think this could be done w/o dismantling the whole setting.
I'll ask my jeweler, I cannot get into the city very easy But my jeweler will also hopefully give me a good deal.
Jenn, does your jeweler work on weekends?

Yes he is in on Saturdays 10-4:30 and Sundays I think near the holidays.

liz- I would leave it alone... if my stone didnt fall out I wouldnt have changed it and it sounds like those that have seen your ring love it!

Murray is great. That is where my DH got my rings. Murray even made me a braclet and pendent from my grandmothers rings.
