This was the deal; tried to get an appointment at the girl who colors my hair to give her another shot but she was booked till April SO went back to my old stylist who has done me for like 4-5 years.I was a little worried cause my B pics are in 2 weeks but figured be BRAVE! Daring!
Anyway, I haven't seen my old girl in about 9 months. Turns out when I got there SHE wasn't there lmao. CAUSE...she was giving birth TWO TWINS! She was 9 months preggers and I had NO clue! They didn't have my number so couldn't call me soooo I almost didn't cut it BUT...there's this guy thats been there since 96. he is this funny as anything, gay chinese guy who always seemed to do a nice job on other people. Personally I like gay male hairdressers. It is a cliche but in my experience they ALWAYS do the best job lol. Before my girl iI used a black cross-dresser who always made me look fierce.
Anyway, Dennis (new stylist) took me and I was a little apprehensive because he was so confident. He looked at the pic I had, sat me down and talked the entire time he snipped... AND SNIPPED lol. I didn't think I had THAT much hair to lose but I did. But he was funny and we traded OCD stories cause his partner is the same as Pete. Anyway my hair looks.....
FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think so anyway. Its a gradiated bob-not quite as sharply angled as the last time-a little sleeker, sexier. I still have the long chin length fringe in front but it is much better blended in back; slightly longer layers than before and none of those damn little 'dog ears' from the last time-the part that curled out that I HATED. I have it worn smooth today but he showed me how to punk it out-its so versatile cause short in back but the front and top is long enough to play with a little bit so I can do lots of diff looks.
I LOVE MY HAIR!!! So far anyway. When i wash it it might freak out a bit but its def a good cut so I will learn to tame it if it does!
IGNORE My shiny face...I have such oily T zone..

I don't think you would look like a mallow! You just ahve to adjust it to fit your face. Mine is less stacke din back and elss sharply angled than some peoples-more tardiitonal but then the back is all choppsy so if I smooth it back it looks SHORT but the front is long so pull it forward and voila! new style.
If you pick up any hair magazine now there are 100 variations per issue of the bob.

Jenn i absolutely LOOOVE ur hair!! i think we have almost the same style lol. mine is just a tad longer now...i had gone back to my stylist a few weeks ago & she did yet ANOTHER variation on my 'bob' lol. i love this hairstyle because there ARE so many different variations of it that can make it look so different. Mine is now more bobbish....straight around from the front to the back, but then there are stacked layers in the back....as opposed to just being an entire blunt angle that starts high & comes down real low in the front...if that makes sense???? Anyways, i totally hear u on the short hair vs. long hair thing...while i would LOVE to grow my hair out, it just doesnt look great. It takes SO much more time & product to make it actually look decent(since its so flat & blah)...but even comparing to when i had my long thick extensions, i get SOO many more compliments on my hair when it's short. so yay! i absolutely love ur new do! u look fabulous! the hubby must LOVE it

Thanks Taryn! yea my hair is a variation from my last one lol. No little 'dog ears' this time thank God. Its less layered in front-almost all the same length in the front and then angles back SLIGHTLy but the back is pretty choppy and he kept the nape hairline more natural which is nice. So if I slick it down its sooo short looking-very sleek almost like I have my hair up. But if i push it forward, then you can tell there is a definte asymetricl thing going on-its a little more subtle than my last cut but I like it better.

People used to like my long hair but now everyone tells me they like it better short. Just suits my face better. I am not a long haired girlie anymore. Even my dad likes this hairut and he is ususally SO anti short hair. But because it's a Houdini' haircut in the sense I can make it look long or short, he's digging it :) Same for Pete.

lol here's some pics of my hair...dont know why but i can't find a decent shot of the front - but here's a few...mine also looks super short if i put the front behind my ears as well...very sleek lookin'...i also had her do the underneath part a little darker 'cause i wanted to have fun with the color.... lol it's funny 'cause i actually took a photo of jenna jameson with me to my stylist!

I think yours is more angled in the back then mine. This lokks great!

yea - the angle difference along the bottom is VEERRRY slight(from my neck to front)...but then the layers are stacked up above that...and yes - the color makes a HUGE difference in how the dimension looks...i had it all blonde before hand and it's amazing how the look changed just by adding in the dark... i'm really happy with it right now (and in the pics) it's grown out a bit, so i'm do for color & a cut, but i like it. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE YOURS!!!!! it looks fabulous in the photos!
