Update: 12/6/08 I went into the doctors office extremely nervous. When it was time I just laid there and woke up later on my tummy in a different room. The doctor said everything went fine. I got 2 meds and DH has a time schedule rolleyes:
I am ok, but just in alot of pain and extremely tired. DH asked if i heard the neighbors house alarm go off 'i was like no'. He said what about the earthquake? I can't believe i didn't even feel the bed move! ( We live in Cali) Well, he just made a smoothie and i been summoned. Thank you for all your advice!
12/5/08 I am getting 3 of my wisdom teeth pulled tom. I am so afraid of the pain and they have to put me to sleep. I am so scared
The Doctor said he can sedate me but i can still be aware of what is going on if i want. Should i complete be asleep or should i be half alert to calm myself?

I had it done a few years ago and it really wasn't that bad. they put me out and ended up removing 5 teeth.. 3 wisdom and then 2 others i had...
get pain killers if you think its going to be bad, but don't worry, it wont be that horrible

I just had one of my regular teeth pulled and only had novacaine. I was afraid before i went but honestly, I didnt feel a thing at all. He said I wouldn't feel pain, just pressure and I didnt even feel that. I even said 'oh wow its out already' i didnt even feel it.

I had the laughing gas. You're technically awake but you really have no idea whats going on. Its like a dream state. I've never been high but I'd imagine it to be something like that. I've had 2 pulled and both at seperate times.... I hope all goes well... Get plenty of rest.

you'll be fine dont worry. You dont feel it during, its actually after you feel a bit sore but they will give you pain killers. Go get the prescription right away and just take it, bc once everything wears off you feel it.
Dont feel bad, i have been going 1-2x a week to the dentist for WEEKS now, i was there yesterday and have to go again saturday

Yeah...I agree get put out. It took me about 2 weeks to recover but that's because I had an infected molar near my wisdom teeth. My actual wisdom teeth felt better in about a week. Good luck!!

I was knocked out and had all four removed at once. I was sore for like two days and then started to recover. I was surprised at how fast I felt better! Don't worry, just think of the relief you'll feel after it's over (assuming you're in pain because of your teeth like I was).
