updates....

so on friday we found out officially that our loan was approved and we received the commitment letter from the bank, and whoo hoo we are on our way...

now onto getting insurance! you would think after all we have been thru that this would be easy, but noooo! went to state farm, but they could not give us a policy because they have already met their quota for homeowners policies for the month, which is only 3 by the way!!!
so they recommended a few companies that we called, and of course wont be able to get us quotes till this afternoon!! bugging out a little cuz we need to close on wednesday!! (still not an official date by the way!!)

to top it all off, im sure most of you remember our wonderful christmas eve drama!! well im sure i mentioned that FIL, and DH were being sued!!!! well DH got the papers in the mail regarding his court date! which is APRIL 1st!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
soo lets just hope we close on the 31st because now the 1st is not going to work!!

please pray the everything that is happening this week goes smoothly, i cant physically handle any more unwanted stress!!

We got out insurance from State Farm. Why don't you call agents in your area instead of calling them directly via a 1800 number. I never heard of a quota. If not I know geico works with a company (Travelers). Liberty Mutal is another company. And Farmers. Hope that helps.

Can DH get the court date moved? Im sure if he speaks to his atty they can change it for him.

Here is the guy we used, he was GREAT! We have everything through him now, cars, my ring, & homeowners... you should have an umbrella to protect your home should you have a serious accident...if you have a separate auto policy it won't protect you from that....

Anyway here is his number, he should be able to help you FAST.
