we didn't have much adjusting to do...DH lived with me & my mom for a while before we got married...so we just got to look forward to lots of loud newlywed sex & alone time
and i just have to add - the hubby has always been a good help around the house he's just so great

DH and I did the same thing......definitely no adjustment period....it's so nice to come home to your loved one and have them there for company all the time

we moved in together 6 months into our relationship......so there wasn't really any adjustment period.
we dealt with some pretty heavy issues in the beginning - so we got very close, very quick...

We lived together for awhile before we got married, there really wasnt an adjustment period since we were roomies before dating.

Hell Yeah there was an adjustment period!!! We never lived together before hand so even though we were together for 6 years it was still a HUGE adjustment- with a LOT of

We lived together for 5 years before getting married and the first 6 months is a bit difficult. Like the i have to share bathroom with him, i have to see him scratch is behind, fart in front of me, pick his nose....and the most difficult adjustment was getting used of his snoring...my lod my husband snore like sleeping bull-dog!!

Dh & I lived together for years before the wedding so no post wedding adjustment...but i remember it suucking the first month or so after moving in...haha...just getting used to each other's daily crap...we live in a small house with one bathroom & both worked from home(when he wasn't traveling)...a little too much togetherness at times! haha...

we didn't live together until we got married, but there wasn't really any adjustment period. We'd been together for almost 7 years before our wedding, so even though we had never lived together before, it just felt natural once we did move into our home. Of course there are silly fights about chores and stuff, but I have to say besides being kind of sloppy sometimes,he's extremely considerate. He works nights (which completely $uck$ because we never get to see each other - maybe the reason we don't fight that much, ) but when he comes in at 4 am he's so quiet and tip toes around the house in the dark just so he won't wake me up.

we moved in about 2 wks before the wedding---after dating for 5 years---there was a little bit of an adjustment period. simply because we didn't have many opportunities to spend time overnite together. i think we had to adjust to the idea that it was just US and no one else but the cat....and at times that was freaking awesome and sometimes it was different cause he likes things one way and i like them another.
but really it wasn't as bad as some people say---we just had to figure out happy mediums with some things. but for the most part it was been really great!

We moved in together about a year before the wedding. There was no adjustment period -- we just fell right into it and it felt perfectly natural.

there was definitely an adjustment period when dh & i moved in together (a few years before we got engaged) ... nothing serious, but it takes time to figure out how to live with another person.

I moved in to his apartment the weekend after the wedding. I had been living alone for 10 years so it was a big adjustment for me. I'm realizing how set in my ways I am (or was) compromise is a part of the adjustment We are pretty opposite & disagree a lot but in some strange way that's why we get along so good & have fun together.

YEP adjustement period. We lived together half time for 4 years before marriage but its nada like being together 24-7. We both are neurotic in our own way soooo lots of clashes we didnt have before when we had downtime between.
But we're doing better-getting into routine and figuring out what works for us. Just takes time and patience.

There really was no adjustment period for us; we're alike in so many ways that it was pretty easy. And I was just so happy to have him with me every night, instead of him only staying over a few times during the week.
Now, if we could only get a bigger place so we could fit all of our stuff, that would be nice. He can't even bring over the rest of his stuff-we have no room. Our bedroom & living room are in one room so it's tough.

I can relate to the space issue. Between moving in together, plus all the wedding stuff and gifts, space is tight. We're trying to get organized, but there is literally no place open to sort through things. Last night, DH was putting the dishes away and some tupperware fell out of the cabinet and hit him in the head. He was so frustrated!!! Eventually, we will have to get a house, but we have some saving to do first. In the meantime, does anyone have any advice about living in a small place?
