US having least amount of sex

This sex wellbeing group does these surveys and they do the countries having most amount of sex and least amount of sex. The US was in the bottom 3

they go by percentage of ppl having sex on a weekly basis so at least 1x a week.

The top countries having the most amount of sex were Greece, Brazil and sweden and israel as 4th, i think last year it was also greece, brazil but russia

least amount were Nigeria, US and for some reason cant remember the 3rd


i was a bit shocked and wow cant believe that. I even checked their site and you can roll over each country to see how much sex they are having and we are so behind everybody. Most were 70-80% having sex on a weekly basis. And were at about 50%

I think thats exactly what it is. I looked at Japan and they had a very low percentage too. Then i thought that the US and Japan its all about working all the time and stress and all that comes with it. Its pretty sad

not long ago i was on the train and there were these 2 women next to me. One was talking about how she went to europe and all the places she visited. She said before she went she always thought that everybody wanted to come to the US and how everything was so much better here. But she said when she got there she realized that not everybody wanted to be in the US, and also said she didnt realize just how advanced and modern some other places were. She said one thing she noticed is how ppl really enjoy their lives. Family and enjoying yourself comes first and THEN work and everything else, but how ppl in europe take time to enjoy themselves, spend so much time with their families and dont stress out about stuff like we do. I remember thinking how she is so right. When we were on our HM no matter what day of the week it was, you saw tons of families everywhere eating out all the time, parents with their kids everywhere and going to outdoor cafes and sitting outside for like 2 hours.

In france they get like 2 hours for lunch lol. And most countries in europe you get off a long time for summer vacation. Most have a month average, and thats why they say when going to europe in august its so crowded bc almost everybody is off the month of august and to always be aware that alot of places will be closed bc of this.

it is so true. I mean now without working it drives me crazy and i want to. But i remember being at work for 8 hours but with commuting and everything you are gone from home like most of the day. Lets say getting home around 6-7pm and then you have just a few short hours at home. And if you have kids forget it bc they go to sleep early, so what do you get like an hour with them ya know.

And now jobs are even more demanding and they want you to do longer hours. Before it was 9-5 standard, now its like 8am start time and end at 6pm many of them, but some jobs you have to do so much overtime and its standard. Theres ppl i know who work about 12 hours a day and if you dont then doesnt look good at work in some industries. Or some jobs they want you to travel a decent amount and if youre not up for it then again doesnt look good, or going out to meet with clients all the time. Its like if you think about your family then in the workplace they wont like that and you have to put work first. But then S*CKS if you have a kid and hardly get to see them. Youre screwed either way.

Our next big trip i do want to go to Italy. Not sure if i could live there, but the good thing is that his family has 2 houses there so we can stay there for free, just buy plane tickets. Yeah some parts are very expensive depending which area, and with the euro its not helping. The one good thing about dh's job is that they have offices all over the world and most places in europe but then again he would have to know those languages i am guessing lol so he is screwed there. DH is one of the few ppl in his family who dont speak italian, just him, his brother and his mom but she speaks a lil. The rest are all VERY fluent and speak italian all the time. I would love to live in europe but for like a year and then come back lol, I LOVE NYC and its home to me plus our family is here so if it was just temporary i would love to.

i would love to live in europe for a year, i wish i would have done that in college - like studied abroad - i know so many people who did it and loved it....but its just not possible for us hahahaha - its nice that we can always visit his aunt and uncle and cousins though - they live near bari in a town called giovanazzi i think, its on the east coast of italy right on the water....its just airfare for us too - we never went b/c we never left our dog before, we left her for the first time when we went on our honeymoon - now that we know we can leave her it makes planning trips easier....i know we are def going before we have kids, its just a matter of when b/c id like to plan a big trip out of it and see other countries as well but with the dog who knows what we will be able to do - she is worse than having a kid at least a kid you can take with you hahahaha....

yeah the airfare only part really helps out. Well unless we want to do like capri for a few days then yeah would have to pay for hotel there. But its good to know we have that option. So its good bc will cost you less, maybe you can go in the near future.

Ive been to italy but i was a baby so of course i dont remember a thing lol, but i can say ive been there lol although doesnt count for me. But i pray we can do it in the near future, within a year. I want DH to see where his family came from, hes never been there

I love Italy and I keep saying that is the next place I want to go to. DH has never been and I know it is one place he would love. You need a good two weeks if not longer and you should really go to more then one city -- each city is so different!

BUt here i found another article on this, oh and i have to change my stats lol its sweden not switzerland and israel is in top 4 of having most sex not bottom 3. Luckily I work 9-5 or I'd really never be home. I'm not home until almost 7:30 as it is...and I leave before 7:00 in the morning. I know what you're saying about some of these firms...before 8 and after 5. It's really just too much...where does it end. I don't know...

My DH has family in Italy, but he has no desire right now to go. I would love to be able to go someday. A lot of his family speaks fluent Italian too...it always surprised me that he never learned. His father still has a heavy accent and has been here for years.
