Valentines Day

What is everyone getting the husbands for vday? I want to get him something good for our first year being married.

I was thinking a day in the city goin for massages(he works for sanitation says he needs one lol), dinner and then spend the night in a hotel.

Anyone have any recommendations for spas or restaurants in the city?

Nothing. We don't really do gifts...we like to put the money towards some sort of trip or something. We're going to the Garden City Hotel for the night...they are having a Valentines Day package with champagne, dinner, and a room. We're going to do the brunch buffet there the next morning.

We're not doing gifts but I am going to make a homemade coupon booklet with things like:

One candlelight dinner prepared by me
One full body massage with oils
One night out with the boys
One movie night of your choice

I made like 10 of them or so, so he can 'cash in' on those as he chooses

His b'day is also the week before valentine's day so he will always get a gift around this time of year anyways.

A card.. lol we don't really do V-day we'll probably drive out to the wineries pack a lunch and spend the day together that's all (techincally we will be doing this the weekend before)

Agreed. I thought about it, then I thought about cooking or baking but really they don't care. I'll go to Boston Market and put it on real dishes before he gets home.

Shave your legs -- since we've had this conversation before and know that 95% of us hate to and don't shave our legs everyday. (And for some of you... not even every week!!!)

So shave your legs and put sexy underwear on and get with the program.
