Vegas in one week..woo-hoo!

This week has been HELL at work. I just cant wait to get out of here and be in Vegas. Im sort of sad that we are only going for 3 days b/c right now I feel like i need at least a week away...but my birthday is the weekend after that so DH has a 'surprise' planned.

Anyway - just want to share my excitement before i go back to work.

Have a great time. I just got back last night from 3 days in Vegas as well. It was awesome and the weather was beautiful!!!!

thanks girls. Im not leaving til NEXT Friday so i will still be around here for a little while longer...was just trying to psych myself up to get thru this one final day this week at work.

No, no dress. I put on my 'backup' outfit the other night and it looks cute enough. Not great but will do. This is really not a big deal so im not even going to think about it anymore.

I also made myself a little fake bouquet b/c i just didnt feel like shelling out $100 for a real one and i know im not going to like the crappy one that comes with the package. Especially since i dont know what i will be doing afterward but a bouquet will probably get in the way of my celebrating.

What does shamma require? I dont get it. I made al little posy bouquet out of fake hydrangeas. It will do in a pinch. I was originally going to get a real bouquet but i have a cheap streak you know :D

I hope i didnt give you teh wrong impression about this - its not a 'real' wedding. I will have a few photos done by the chapels photographer (i use that term loosely) and hopefully a friend will take photos..but im not going to have a pro doing a photo shoot with us or anything. But you know i will come back with loads of photos :D

Oh, i should have known. You know for sure that i will have tons of pics so no worries there :D In fact, Im wrestling with my poor DH about what cameras to bring. I want to bring the big good SLR camera but he is saying not too - who will win? hehehehe

No cumbersome SLR, I say dainty fun easy to carry camera.

I would bring the little one too from when im traveling light but i wanted to try this photo and i would need the SLR for that;



For a 3 day trip - im going to have such a heavy bag:

Camera, bottle of champagne (a little worried about carrying this on plane but keeping fingers crossed), little bouquet, wedding outfit and something else im forgetting now.

Not sure if i should bring champagne flutes...i guess the hotel will have those right?
