Vent

Original post by Mrs. Bernabe

Well, my husband has two kids. He has them when he was a teen and his baby mama was 16. Anyways, since my husband left her, it was drama after drama, despite the fact that she has a husband and 2 other kids. Well today her husband drops of DH's kids at work with a letter where she gives us parental right. Can you believe this c*nt! What a ******* mother!

Now of course I can't tell DH oh no I don't want them or I am leaving this marriage because you knew I never wanted to play the momma role before my time. I'm just upset and worried because I feel our marriage is going to really encounter issues because we will be living with his kids.

for 1) I don't cook not even for DH. 2) I go to school 3) I like take time for my hobby, etc.

and now we won't be free to do whatever we want whenever we want. Now vacations will have to be placed on hold, I won't be able to say oh lets go here tonight without having to worry about anything.

I hope you pro step kids don't jump to attack me but instead put yourselves in my shoes. I barely enjoyed our marriage as newly wed because we were both going to school, and all this time I thought to myself no biggie we will make it up this summer. I planned on going out every single weekend! And now my weekend will revolve around children. I just hope everything works out for all of us

Honestly, the mother sounds like a complete nut job and she probably is giving those kids alot of emotional and psychological issues to deal with... your own mother not wanting you?? That's disgusting!!! If I were in this situation, I would totally want to take in those kids and make sure they're taken care of. I wouldn't want them to ever go back to that house again! I wouldn't want that monster to even look at them again! and down the line I would probably pursue legal guardianship where you are both the legal parents and she has no right to those kids ever again! She can't just walk back into their lives and rip them away from you at a later date just because 'she feels like it'.... Just think of the harm she's causing these poor innocent children.

And she's totally doing this because she's a jealous, raving lunatic and she's trying to destroy your new marriage... SO DON'T LET HER!!! Show her that your marriage not only can totally handle this new living situation, but FLOURISH because of it!!! That ought to really piss this b!tch off good!!!! She'll realize it didn't work!!! She'll see her plan backfired and you guys are a happy little family!!! If you show her you're struggling, unhappy, then she will have won!

I hope your inlaws can help too while you guys are in school! Just remember these are your husband's children, and your future children's siblings. They deserve to be in a good home, with stable, loving parents.

Sorry you're going through this... somehow, someway it will be ok!!!
