VENT: Dear Darling Landlord....

You loved having us and dont want to see us go(or so you say), but we can't seem to get the hell out fast enough for you... How do you have the audacity to tell us, people who are living in your illegal apt might I add, to call the bank and see if we can get a faster closing date... I dont care what your situation is, you just dont say those things to someone who you 'loved' having... We paid on time every month... Never really complained about anything (although there were many times we wanted to) and now we have to move when it is convienient for you??????

I'm secretly hoping our closing date pushes to the end of this month just to fcuk up your plans like you have now done with us...

im sure you just wanna get the heck out of there too, but if your closing date got pushed back that would be kinda funny to screw them over a little!

Did you give your LL your end date???? If so then they cant do anything to move you out any sooner!!!!!

We are runnin into the same issue. We have to give our LL notice but don't know when we are closing yet. Im afraid to give a date and then move out comes and we have no house to move into.

We told them november would be our last month... there was no specific date bc we have yet to get a closing date... all we could get from the bank was speculation on when it may be around...
We werer under the impression that we would pay rent for this month and stay the entire month... fix things up in the new house while we had extra time if closing was sooner without all the furniture and evreything being in there... All of a sudden they need family to move in and were dropped the bomb that they need us out asap... we dont have a contract so really they are able to kick us out yesterday so at least that isnt the case... but i mean, you could have told us what you were thinking of doing when it looked like it was going to be an option...

We def cant wait to get out ourselves (i mean why continue paying someone else's mortgage right), but when we had plans on not moving everything in asap and all that gets changed... its a bit aggravating...

oh yes, and lets not forget them hounding us to come down and take pics in case they rent in the future... they told us they would come down a million times... i would clean and straighten up a million times, and then they would just never show up... not even offer up any excuses... so once again, whatever was convenient for them...

Well the good news is they cant force you out any earlier then the end of Nov. They took your rent for the month so by doing that they agreed to the month of you living there.

SO they can push as much as they want they have you til Nov 30th at midnight.
