Video and Photo.....?

Has anyone here gotten thier video back and thier proof, if so who did them and what did you think, would you recommend them, I have a photographer and videographer appointment tonight?

I used Laurie Studio for my pictures, and I was 200% happy with both of my photographers, all of my proofs, and my album.

I used Patken for photos, and JR video. I coudnt be any more HAPPY!!!!

Novemberbride also used Patken.
Just be careful the amount of proofs you get from him. Someone told me they got only 250- which I personally think is not enough. Also, ask about the ratio of b&w to color- if you want b&w photos.

I got my video and my proofs.

For photography I used Creative Compositions, and I would highly recommend them. They are so talented, and responsive. (But on the expensive side.)

Oh, I used Mark Kauffman studios and have about 1800 proofs.
Wild Rose Video- you cannot go wrong with them.

We did both photo and video. Both are also from the same studio:

They're very good but pricy. We wished we had more contact with our photographer in advance because the person assigned to us got sick with the flu and ended up in the emergency room on our wedding day. We wished we could discuss all the details of the routinue with him in advance. The studio did a good job with our proofs. It took about 5 weeks to get them back, more 7 weeks for our Thank you card order to get through (custom thank you card order), 12 weeks to get our video back after we submitted our baby, growing up, dating, honeymoon pics, invitation, music selection (one song for the re-cap was not part of their selection so we had to provide the CD). Overall, the video was professionally prepared and well edited as it captured the atmosphere of our special day.

We still have not received our albums back or any loose photo enlargements from our package yet as that will take 6-10 months, wedding was on August 24, 2002. The proofs were very nice although some were off-centered.

Overall, yes, I would recommend them.

Has anyone gotten thier video back from patken? I have heard great things about wild rose and would love to use them but I am not sure b/c they are a little pricy. Patken offered me a great deal with the video and we already booked the photo with them. I just wanted some feedback on their video.

Patken's videos are very well done. My brother edits for them and I have seen their stuff. Definitely top notch.

We were originally assigned with Rob A. however, 2 days before our wedding we were then re-assigned to Mike (the owner's son-in-law of Casssarino Studios) due to Rob A. having a fever and was in the hospital. Couples are assigned with a photographer based on how much they spend on the package they choose.
