This whole thing is ridiculous. This person is not a man she is WOMAN. She was born a woman who chose to look like a man and be treated like a man. that is what annoys me too...they say 'Miracle'...umm...hello...you were biologically a WOMAN...woman can have babies...no news there...now if my DH gets pregnant then it's a freakin miracle..and I'd want to know who else he's been sleeping with! haha

ETA: im so confused, it says he got a sex change but didn't do anything to his reproductive organs, isnt that what a sex change usually implies? someone explain to naive me! lol

From what I understand (I didn't see Oprah) she basically had her boobs removed so it would look like a man's chest. Then she took male-growth hormones to get facial hair, etc and apparently it also made her clitoris grow into a small penis (she says large enough to have intercourse with). But she still wanted to be able to have children so they left all of her female reproductive organs in tact.
Does that make sense? Ok, now explain it to me bc my head is spinning!!!![]()

I think what makes it shocking to society or 'news' per say is that 'Tracy' is legally registered now as a man and legally married to his wife as per the United States.
Since she had her breasts removed, lived her life as a man for a year before ANY surgery (required my docotors)....and then took testosterone treatment for 2 years straight.... then legally and physically....you have now turned into a man. (Shes got the very enlarged overgrown clitoris, facial hair, muscles, voice change, etc)
EXCEPT....what makes this guys exception is he never got rid of his female organs below.......therefore technically making it possible to impregnant himself by sperm donor. And he did.
I hope this made some sense!! I watched Oprah.
