Dh and I are looking at getting a new car in the next few months. We have an '01 4Runner now, and we're thinking we want to stay in the SUV class of cars. We basically have it down to two different cars...either the V.W. Touareg or the Acura RDX. Has anyone ever owned, known someone who owned either of these cars?? I'm going to test drive them both on Monday but I was just looking for a little insight from anyone who's had any experience with either of these cars. TIA!
Here's the VW Touareg:
and the Acura RDX:

Re: V.W. Touareg vs Acura RDX?
I have not owned either of those cars but when I was doing the research for my last car, it seemed that the Acura was a better make than the VW. Also, my partner just turned in his Toureg b/c he hated it.

I'm biased towards Acura (we're a family of Acuras- I have the TSX, Parents have the MDX, Brother has the TL)!! Acuras are AMAZING cars that are always rated in the TOP among their class! Can't go wrong with an Acura!
