Was your wedding...

Original post by Sweetd

Perfect, no matter what? Do you feel like you did everything right, down to the BM dresses and flowers? I know even though I didn't have a church program like many brides and fancy Rehearsal Dinner invitations, I still think that everything was perfect and beautiful, no matter what! If I could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing! Does anyone feel the same way I do? I am just curious. If you would change somethings, please explain.

Re: Was your wedding...

The day was the best day of my life so far, but I cannot help but wish I had done a few things a little differently. I think when you put so much time and energy into something it is hard not to want it to go just right.

For starters, I would have asked for a sample of my bridal bo-k. It still bothers me that it did not come out the way I had envisioned and this was something I was really, really looking forward to on the wedding day.

I wish I had re-arranged the hairpins in my hair because only two show from the side in the photos! We were starting to run late so I rushed this part. Argh!

I would have gotten a different cake topper.

Are these big things? No, and nothing will take away from the joy I felt that day.

Because I cannot change things, and more importantly because I married my wonderful DH, I would say it was perfect. Although I voted to change a few things because if I had the chance to go back and do it again there are some things I would definitely change. But no regrets.

There's only one thing I would change - my cake. Other than that, even the little things that went 'wrong', I wouldn't change one bit - like the limos being late...it just made my day MY day and brought about some great memories.

I totally agree and could not have said it better myself!
